Amanda is a young journalist who eats, sleeps and breathes news. When not browsing headlines in her iPhone, she enjoys drinking green tea, getting lost in a novel and volunteering with the nonprofit Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Amanda is a content developer for St. Joseph’s College, based at its campus in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. She writes and edits marketing materials for the College and produces multimedia articles about happenings on the campus.

Before arriving at SJC Brooklyn in the summer of 2018, Amanda was a reporter for The Southampton Press/27east.com. At the newspaper she covered an assortment of local issues including government, education, and environmental concerns.

Amanda has won multiple awards in the New York Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest–including second place for Writer of the Year in 2017.
