Amanda is a New York-based writer, editor, and librarian. When not browsing headlines in her iPhone, she enjoys drinking green tea, getting lost in a novel and hanging out with her dog.

Amanda is the Webmaster and Social Media Coordinator for the Great Neck Library. She manages the website and library catalogs, promotes programming, leads the production of a 16-page bi-monthly newsletter, and provides adult programming to patrons, among other responsibilities.

Before arriving at the Great Neck Library in the summer of 2022, Amanda was a content developer at St. Joseph’s University, New York, where she wrote and edited marketing materials for the College and produced multimedia articles about happenings on campus.

Amanda has won multiple awards in the New York Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest–including second place for Writer of the Year in 2017.
